It's been a while, but we tinkered with Wonder Gears, so that what we did today. We built very intricate models with moving parts. It was truly a great day. 

Also - Please make sure that your child/children is using a keyboard at home so that they may continuously practice their keyboarding skills on days that I don't have them scheduled for my class.

Today we worked some more on our Typing Skills (Keyboarding) on the Chromebooks; as-well-as basic computer knowledge and instructions. The instructions were as follows:
  1. Log in to the account
  2. Go to Google Chrome
  3. Click on the Google App Icon (Nine Dots at the top right corner of the page)
  4. Select Docs (Google Docs)
  5. Select the + sign to open a blank document
  6. Type the alphabet ten times (10x)
  7. Type your First Name ten times (10x)
  8. Type your Last Name ten times (10x)
  9. Type your First and Last Name ten times (10x)
At the end of class, we need to:
  1. Find the "X" at the top right corner of the page to close the page
  2. Select the image of the puppy or the kiwi at the bottom right corner of the page
  3. Select "Sign Out"
  4. Gently close the laptop

Students worked on creating SLS Rockets in class today. NASA’s Space Launch System will be the most powerful rocket they've ever built. When completed, SLS will enable astronauts to begin their journey to explore destinations far into the solar system.
